Three friends, three Balkan countries, one shared passion.

 

What happens when three friends from Bosnia, Croatia and Macedonia come together after their vacations? 

They decide that the people in Switzerland deserve to get Balkanissima—an event like no other, where the rich and diverse culture of the Balkans comes alive in unforgettable evenings filled with food, drinks, and music.

 

Balkanissima was born out of our love for the vibrant traditions that define our homeland. Though we come from different countries, we share a deep-rooted connection to the Balkans—a region where history, culture, and community are woven into the fabric of daily life. We wanted to create something that would not only bring people together but also celebrate the unique spirit of the Balkans.

 

The name Balkanissima is a combination of “Balkan” and the Italian suffix “-issima,” which conveys the idea of something extraordinary. It reflects our mission to offer an experience that is more than just a night out—it’s a celebration of everything the Balkans stand for. By blending traditional elements with a modern twist, we’ve crafted an event that’s full of energy, passion, and unforgettable moments.
